And the Most Charming Son EVER Award goes to...

Yep. My son. He's officially the smoothest kid in town. He so knows how to work me.

If you ever watch PBS Kids, you may have noticed the advertisement for Cindy Crawford's latest line-o' crap---"Meaningful Beauty" skincare. They play the infomercial frequently between the kids' programs, hoping that tired, homely, unkempt moms like myself will buy into it with hopes of looking like Cindy.

But apparently I don't need it!

Laura told me yesterday that every time Brax sees the commercial he points to Cindy and says, "Momma? Momma?"

Did you hear that? My one year old thinks I look like Cindy Crawford. And I don't even have the lip mole. God bless you, little boy.

It's enough to make me not even care that he watches enough TV to notice and recognize that "I" am on there!

This is probably what Cindy looks like
when she's doing dishes in the middle of winter, too.
Again, I should credit my husband for this award winning photograph.

Yes I Do Own Make-Up, and Non-Fleece Clothing Items

In case you missed this flattering shot of me...
You really have to see this one to appreciate the following.

Just for the record, I do like to shower from time to time, wear perfume, and "put my face on." Last nite was Mike's company Christmas party, so I put on my A-Game to make Mike proud! Aunt Laura stayed the nite with Brax, and Mike and I had a blast. It was at an "upscale" bowling alley in the Power and Light District downtown. I found that I bowl best with my eyes closed. Seriously.
Daddy's home!!!!
(My sweet husband drove all the way from his office downtown just to pick me up and turn around and drive all the way BACK downtown to the party. What a guy.)

Yes! I own heels! RED heels!

And make-up!!!!!!

I don't think Brax knew who I was.

My Long Lost Twin--Updated

I've had a couple people tell me in the past that I look like Sophia Bush. Considering the fact that I rarely, if ever, blow dry my hair, wear more than mascara, blush and chapstick, and, well, you've seen THIS picture (click HERE), I didn't agree so much at first.

But the other nite I was bored so I searched for images of Sophia (yes, we're on a first name basis now) and found the following... It even creeps ME out a little how much we look alike. Except she's a movie star and she looks hot every day. But whatever.
I added some of my modeling shots for comparison.
However, as hard as I tried, I couldn't seem to find a photo of Sophia in long johns.
And I should add this sidenote--many of these photos of me were BEFORE I was a Mom. You may recall this photo, which is probably a more accurate depiction of me NOW (click HERE). I don't think Sophia has any like this, either. She's missing out.

For Your Viewing Pleasure

I came across the following two photos while searching for pics for another post...
I thought it made for a very amusing "BEFORE" and "AFTER" comparison.

Here I am BEFORE. At least I think that's me.
However, this girl has on makeup and cute clothes,
and seems to have forgotten to put her hair on top of her head, tree-style.

And here is a self-deprecating photo of me, AFTER.

After WHAT, you might wonder? Taking a dump in my pants??
Thank you, Mike, for this image, which will now be forever etched in our minds.
